Welcome to the website of the Perth Green Model Railway club !

We are a Model Railway Club in South Tyneside based at Perth Green Community Association, Inverness Road Jarrow, NE32 4AQ. Members are from all age groups and come from a variety of backgrounds which brings a range of experiences and talents to the club.

This photograph was taken to mark our 25th Exhibition in 2013 by Bob Smith of the Perth Green Photographic Club

Members interests cover a wide range of modelling including steam, modern image,

narrow gauge, industrial, light railways, and trams. Whatever your interests or level of experience you will meet like minded people at the club.

Our regular club night is Wednesday 7.00 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. but the club room is open to members on any day of the week.

New members are always very welcome. You can contact us at the link above and arrange to come and meet us or just drop in on the regular club night.

Let us take a quick look into our club room

We have a range of test track gauges for members to test run their locos and rolling stock. Often you will see three or four tracks in use simultainously !

We have some space for members to bring along their own baseboards to work on. Helping hands are usually available to give assistance if needed.

We have work bench space available fitted out with electrical sockets and a high level set of '00' and 'N' gauge test tracks with both analogue and digital control.

At last the latest club layout "Brockley Whins" nears completion in the club room !
